The glue and tap idea does sound tempting, but then I'd have to "walk" the cat a couple of times each day to open the tap for him, and I'm a lazy bugger. At the moment I'm leaning toward a cat-apult large enough to shoot him into another county. Don't think he'd be able to find his way home from there.
