I spotted the following in an Al Jazeera video about US troops in Afghanistan who were planning on distributing bibles written in Arabic to the locals:



I find the juxtaposition of the guns and the prayer box a disturbing icon of Bush's wars.

*shrug* It's a disturbing juxtaposition in every war.

This plan was some sort of stupid, and I hope the grunt who thought of it enjoys an education in what it means to violate General Order Number One.
